The Legend of Spookley the Pumpkin- Read-Aloud
- Fill in the Missing Rhyming Words from the story
- Beginning, Middle, and End 2 versions- write and the other draw
- Write or draw a picture of the theme and provide evidence

- Write about the story- Can be used as a bulletin board display
- Craft - 2 options- Students cut out the pumpkin, eyes, and top. Color & glue the eyes and top to the pumpkin.

Ten Frame Pumpkin Adding Craft
- Craft
- Bulletin Board Display
- Center Activity- the teacher will print off the pumpkins with ten frame on the pumpkin, then print off seeds and color them or print on colored paper two different sets with different colors. Students then show different ways to make numbers on the ten frame.
- This would make a great bulletin board display for fall or halloween!
How To Writing!
- Students write "How to Carve a Pumpkin"
- 2 Different Versions with 4 squares to sketch images: 1 with transitional words & 1 without transitional words
- 2 Different Versions with NO squares to draw pictures and these versions have more lines for more writing. 2 pages have transitional words & 2 pages do not transitional words
- 2 Different Versions of Building or Coloring a Pumpkin. 1 page students can put together a Pumpkin & another page students can color a pre-made outline of a pumpkin. Students can draw a face to the pumpkin to turn the pumpkin into a Jack-o-Lantern.
Name Craft
- This is a PDF version where students will write one letter of their name on each pumpkin. Students stack the pumpkins on the wagon to built their name.
- The pumpkins come in a variety of sizes!
Coloring Pages
- 6 pages
Fall Hat
- Print, Color, Cut, glue or staple.
- If the crown does not fit, you can use a sentence strip to make it wider.
- You could also use these at a Fall Party or Halloween Party
