Description

⭐️Public Speaking for young kids is an engaging activity that will help your students gain confidence in speaking in public and the ability to write memorable speeches.

⭐️Research shows that kids who speak confidently perform better in class. Through public speaking, children learn various skills like presentation skills, communication skills, critical thinking skills, and listening skills, that enable them to present ideas with much clarity and conviction.

⭐️This packet is the fifth lesson of a complete 10-week course. It can be used either in the classroom or for distance learning. In the first lessons, you will present to your students the different roles in public speaking, and the tips to be a good speaker and listener, and then you will guide them through different topics to research, write the speech, and present to their audience. In this fourth class, you will review concepts and tips from lesson 1 and introduce the next topic, which is "Debate"

⭐️I teach this course to my 1st. and 2nd-grade students and it is fantastic to see how they love to talk and write their topics. The activities are engaging and rigorous to follow the curriculum.

⭐️The packet includes:

Google Slide™ presentation with the parts of public speaking and their roles (you can print them and display them as posters in your classroom), Different warm-up topics with videos included increasing your students' background knowledge.

Activity Book with pages to write their speeches.

⭐️The topic is: "Debates"

⭐️Talking about the Pros and Cons of Homework

⭐️Plus Extra Activities which I am including in every lesson:

-Tongue Twisters are very important to gaining oral fluency and clarity.

- Ice Breakers: This time it is an activity of "Tell one lie and two truths about yourself". Slide with sound included creating mood.
