Each ready to teach lesson comes with a highly engaging instructionPowerPoint, detailed, scripted lesson plans, response journal activities, differentiated quizzes, hands-on investigations and simple lab activities that are actually do-able in your classroom.

Students are introduced to science practices, such as making observations, constructing explanations, using evidence to support a claim, and designing solutions to problems.

The lessons also include vocabulary posters, guiding questions, and learning objectives display cards as well as related videos for each lesson. Literacy and math based science centers make it easy to integrate science and reinforce the lessons during other subjects.

During each lesson students are presented with engineering connections that enable them to understand how solids, liquids, and gases are used in their everyday lives. Students plan and carry out investigations and experiments, Turn and Talk with partner discussion questions, and Write About It with science journal activities.

Assessments are easy to differentiate using one of two quiz formats: the fill in the blank option or the short, written response format. At the end of the unit students are assessed with a unit test.

I’ve included detailed, scripted lesson plans, guiding questions and objectives cards, science center extension activities and a related lesson videos and read alouds list with all in an easy-prep planning binder. I’ve made it easier than ever to plan and teach an organized and effective science unit, stress-free!
