Description
This is a hands-on game your students can play with a partner or small group to practice identifying pronouns in sentences. It includes 45 sentences. Students take turns drawing cards. If they correctly identify the pronoun(s) in the sentence, they get to keep the card. If they give an incorrect answer, the card gets placed back in the draw pile. The first person to collect seven cards wins the game! But be careful! If a student draws a card that says "OUCH", they must return all of the cards they previously collected back into the pot, and start over.
This game includes the following types of pronouns:
Subject Pronouns: I, you, he, she, it, we, they
Object Pronouns: me, you, him, her, it, us, them
Reflexive Pronouns: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, themselves
**Possessive pronouns and possessive adjectives are not featured in this game.**
Student-friendly directions and an answer key are included.
