Description

Teaching types of cells, Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes, is foundational to every life science class during your Cells Unit. Transform your lesson on Prokaryotes vs Eukaryotes and increase student engagement with a fun and interactive Digital Mystery Puzzle Activity. At the end of this activity, your students will have shown you that they can successfully distinguish between Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes.

Checking student understanding made easy with this fun mystery puzzle digital activity. As students answer the questions about Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes, they will be provided automatic feedback on whether they are correct or incorrect, making this a resource that is all about giving students ownership of their learning.

What's Included?

This is a completely digital activity, so there is no print or prep!

You will receive access to make your own copy of this digital mystery puzzle activity, which is set up in Google Sheets. This means it is compatible with most LMS systems and Google Classroom.

How is it designed?

In the activity, students are challenged to compare and contrast Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes. I have specifically designed this activity to be self-checking so that students receive automatic feedback on whether or not they are correct.

This activity is always so much fun in my classroom and brings engagement as we review Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes.
