Get to know our Texas history explorers!
In this set, students will examine: Columbus, Cortes, Pineda, Narvaez, Cabeza de Vaca, Coronado, Moscoso, and La Salle.
For each explorer, students will identify important dates, the country they represented, their motivation for exploring, background information about the explorer, the results of the expedition, and draw a map of the area they explored.
On the last page of the document you will find a link to a Prezi presentation (copy & paste the link) that gives an overview of each explorer.
