Probability: Independent & Dependent Events Compound Probability

Students will read through situations and decide if they are Independent or Dependent. Then they will calculate the probability of each requested event. These problems are a little more fun than traditional probability word problems!

This is great after students have already been introduced to probability and worked with both Independent and Dependent probabilities. I've used this in my Algebra 2, Algebra 3, and Advanced Topics of Math courses.
