Description
This Unit covers the fifth principle of animation as laid out by Disney, Follow Through and Overlapping Action. This principle is critical for students to develop truly realistic animation. I used Adobe Animate as the program and have several slides that cover the basics of setting up their project, BUT you could teach all about this principle using a different program or just hand drawing and flipping pages.
This is probably two weeks of work, with several checks for understanding and a culminating project (students making a character sneeze while demonstrating follow-through and overlapping action.) I was in California, so adhered to CA CTE standards.
