These blueprints can be used to create full sized spelling pattern reading mats, or they can be printed and used with students walking with their fingers across the board. There are details about the materials needed and sizing guidelines for creating your own mats. Additionally, there is a list of questions you can ask students about the mats. You can purchase clear pocket foam dice and insert Operation and Numeral Cards to differentiate this activity. These are easily differentiable, as you can give more and less challenging tasks via the dice. This activity will grow with your students and allow them to get daily practice with math facts and gain math fluency.
This resource also includes blank templates for you to create your own math fluency hopscotches! You can insert your ideas to create additional fluency drills for your students.
