Description

Struggling to find a meaningful Presidents’ Day activity? These Presidents’ Day activities will help you incorporate social studies, writing, and character education. Plus, you get to combine it all into an awesome bulletin board!

Included in these Presidents’ Day Activities are:

  • Presidential Cutouts to color and attach to writing piece
  • Lined writing paper

Goal:

Students will research the leadership qualities of President Washington or Lincoln. They will analyze their own traits and compare themselves to one of the presidents. Then, they will write in one or more paragraphs, citing research details, and examples from their own lives how they are leaders like the presidents. In these Presidents’ Day activities, students will build their self-esteem as they realize they are leaders too! This is a great activity to review adjectives, character traits, and paragraph writing!
