Preparing for Baby CHEAP - a PowerPoint for Child Development / Life Skills FACS

This PowerPoint educates students about essential baby gear, nonessential baby gear, and best of all - how to SAVE $$$ when stocking up on all this expensive stuff.

This is a GREAT PowerPoint to use if you teach a lot of pregnant or parenting teens or young adults. It is filled with pictures, information, and practical advice!

- Where to buy baby items to save money**
- Necessary baby items
- Car seat expiration dates
- Sleeping arrangement safety, including cribs and bedsharing
- Cloth vs. disposable diapers

This is a long lesson. I taught it in two 90-minute block periods. Depending on the length of your class periods, you may choose to divide this lesson over 2-3 days.
