What educators are saying

I have several kiddos who are quick to finish their work and this resource is great to have on hand while the others are finishing up!
My students absolutely love working with these task cards. They love the monthly variations and the bright visuals. I love that it includes instructions for each task box so students can work individually if able.

    Description

Get a full school year’s worth of early finisher activities with this task card bundle for Pre-K! With over 600 pages of task cards included you’ll be able to keep your fast finishers engaged all year!

Having an early finishers system in your classroom will be an organizational game-changer! Students will love these game-like task cards, and you’ll love how this system frees up your teacher time to work with struggling students and complete other important tasks.

This bundle includes the following months:

    ⭐️ August and September

    ⭐️ October

    ⭐️November

    ⭐️ December

    ⭐️January

    ⭐️February

    ⭐️March

    ⭐️April

    May

    June and July

Each month increases in rigor but the activities follow a familiar pattern so that students will be able to use the task cards independently. Your early finishers will get a spiral review for both language arts and math skills. The skills covered in this resource are listed below:

Language Arts Skills - Letter Recognition, Letter Formation, Sight Words, Beginning Sounds, Fine Motor Skills, Concept Sorts, Alphabetical Order, Sequencing, Syllables, Ending Sounds, Letter Order, Compound Words, CVC Words, Rhyming Words, Antonyms, Medial Sounds

Math Skills - Number Recognition, Counting, Number Formation, Number Sequencing, 2D and 3D Shapes, Patterns, Number Bonds, Ten Frames, Number Comparison, Measurement, Counting On, Teen Numbers, Number Order, Addition, Base 10 Blocks, One-to-One Correspondence, Subtraction, Skip Counting by 10’s

Included in each month you will find:

    • 8 literacy task card activities (approx. 12-16 cards per activity box)
    • 8 math task card activities (approx. 12-16 cards per activity box)
    • Student directions for each activity

Just print out the task cards, laminate them, and use them for years to come! It was important to me to keep the supplies needed to a minimum! For each month the only thing you will need are the boxes, some dry erase markers and clothespins. With just three supplies you are ready to go!

While these task cards work perfectly for an early finishers activity they can also be used in many different ways! Use them for:

    • Guided Reading
    • Morning work
    • Literacy and math centers
    • Early Finisher Activities
    • Assessment
    • RTI
    • Classroom Volunteer Activities

5 Reasons Why You Need An Early Finishers System

    TEACHERS LIKE YOU SAID…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Christina said “This was a great early finisher activity. My students who finished right away now have something productive to do. This way they are getting what they need, and I can help the other students who need a bit more attention

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Samantha said “I am absolutely so happy I decided to order these! ALL of my students love them and can do them on their own. They are perfect for center work or when the early finishers are complete. Very easy to set up and organize. Each month is developmentally appropriate as well, even for my struggling learners.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nicole said “My students really enjoy using these task cards when they have free time. I love how there are new task cards for each month so students do not get bored of them. I also love how the activities are similar enough that it won't take too long to explain the new months cards to the students. I have been looking for a fast finisher activity all year and this resource is perfect!”

Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
