Description

In this activity, your students will be exposed to the Dolch sight words. Students can spell, trace, underline the word in a sentence, tell how many letters are in words, and tell how many words are in sentences.
This is perfect for Language Arts centers!

This powerpoint can be used as is or converted for SMART board use or Promethean board use. I have oriented most of the activities toward the bottom of the screen so the little ones can reach it more easily.

Here are the Common Core standards that this meets:
Kindergarten:
K.RF.1 - Demonstrate understanding of the organization and basic features of print.
K.RF.3 - Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words.

Texas TEKS
K.1A Students understand how English is written and printed.
K.2A Students display phonological awareness.
K.3A Students use the relationships between letters and sounds, spelling patterns, morphological analysis to decode written English.
K.17 form upper- and lower-case letters legibly using the basic conventions of print.

I hope you enjoy!
