What educators are saying

At the end of 4th grade, we have an activity where students play pioneer games. In the past, our students decorated a wagon, and we had a parade. We have not had this return, so your wagon was engaging as they decorated their own wagons.
I used this as a ending activity for a Westward Expansion unit in Social studies. I teach 4 classes of 5th graders and they all had fun. One class put their finished wagons together to form a wagon train. Many students made oxen to pull their wagon and some made paper supplies for theirs.

Description

Students can build the covered wagon and write about life on the prairie.
