How did you use this resource?

I currently teach in the pull-out resource (POR) setting for an Algebra II preparation course. This class is taught in a block-schedule period over the duration of one school year, and encompasses Algebra I skills to prepare students for either Algebra II, college placement exams, or the ASVAB exam. I structure my classes starting with guided instruction, followed by a stations-approach for independent/group practice. Check out my station's design below:

  • M - Meet with Teacher (remediation on current topic)
  • A - Activity (changes from day to day, topic to topic)
  • T - Technology (Khan, Moby Max, LinkIt!, etc.)
  • H - Help with Friends (practice prior day's skill with peers)

This activity was utilized as a practice activity during virtual learning. Students were assigned this activity via Google Classroom and submitted their final products on Classroom as well.
