Have staff encounter mini PD sessions in a place they go to every day!
I started these Potty PD posters at my school because many staff told me that never really read the newsletters which is how I got my mini-PDs out there. Instead, I created posters that could be quickly read in the bathroom with the same information. This PDF file includes 10 months August to May. Each month focuses on a new aspect of ESL PD:
- August - The future of ELs is now!
- September - How to support ELs
- October - The Power of Wait Time
- November - Culturally Responsive Teaching
- December - EL Friendly Classrooms
- January - How to pair ELs for authentic English Opportunities
- February - Cultural Compassion

In the file, I made copies of the posters, but changed what the team name is called. The team name options included are: ML Team, EL Team, ELL Team, and ESL Team. Comment below if I can add a team to better suit your school!
