Positive figures in Black History

This is a list of positive black historical figures, with links to resources about their lives. I provided a suggested research question for my students as well as an informational writing graphic organizer.

Students chose their first, second, and third most interesting figures and I assigned a different figure to each student. Once their graphic organizers were complete, they created a presentation to share with the class.
