Description

Use this Pop Up Pirate game companion to target categories, prepositions, describing, and verbs with these language cards! Use it as a print and go, no prep activity or cut them out for fun and engaging activity during your speech and language therapy sessions!

Product Includes:

1. Categories

  • Red cards
  • Divergent Naming Version #1 (e.g. Name 3 ocean animals)
  • Divergent Naming Version #2 (e.g. ocean animals - choose how many your student will name)
  • Convergent Naming (e.g. What group does a fish belong to?)

2. Describing

  • Yellow cards
  • Naming items given an adjective Version #1 (e.g. Name 3 things that are soft)
  • Naming items given an adjective Version #2 (e.g. Things that are soft - choose how many your student will name)
  • Describing Version #1 (e.g. Name 3 adjectives to describe a zebra)
  • Describing Version #2 (e.g. Describe giraffe)

3. Verbs

  • Green cards
  • Each card lists the root verb, present progressive -ing, & regular past tense or irregular past tense

4. Prepositions

  • Blue cards
  • Given a preposition (e.g. in, on, over, under, etc.)
  • Asked a "where" question that targets use of a prepositional phrase (e.g. Where do you put a hat? Where do fish live?)

5. Blank Cards

  • Blank cards in each color (e.g. red, blue, yellow, green) for you to add your own stimuli/prompts

How to use this product:

  • Low Prep - Print, laminate, and cut. Have students draw a card after they choose a sword.
  • No Prep - Place a sword on each card and have the student complete the task after they choose a sword
