- Baskets Full of Vivid Words: Students create a picnic basket full of vivid words to replace an overused word. Includes both a printable page and craftivity template options.
- My Metaphoric Family: Students write a poem about members of their families using metaphors. A sample poem and template are included.
- Personification Garden Craftivity: Students create flowers and write sentences with personification on the petals. Makes a great spring display!
- Poetry Alliterainbows Craftivity: Students use alliteration to write sentences with the first letter of each color of the rainbow. Includes brainstorming chart, in color and black & white, and cloud template, with title and without.
- Poetry Pops Craftivity: Students create a popsicle craft with a poem inside to show that their poetry is POPPING with a poetic device (such as onomatopoeia).
- Pyramind Poems: Students practice syllabication as they write pyramid poems on a topic of their choice.
- Sandwich Poems: Students learn two different ways to write a "sandwich poem" and then publish it with an ant craftivity.
- Simile Sandwiches: Students practice similes by creating a simile sandwich. Includes bread, cheese, lettuce, onion, ham, and tomato templates and display idea.
- Watermelon Rhymes: Students practice rhyming words with this watermelon craftivity. Includes 30 word cards, seed templates, poem template, and instructions.
- Poetry Publishing Pages: Publishing pages for 10 types of poems and a cover for creating a published poetry book.
