Poetry Analysis Strategy SWIFTT with Taylor Swift songs

I can't post the songs but you can easily look up their lyrics online. SWIFTT, Speaker, Word Choice, Imagery, Figurative Language, Tone and Theme. I teach the strategy with Mean by Taylor Swift. After the mini-lesson, I give my students a choice between 3 other Taylor Swift songs, Bad Blood, Shake it off, and Red to annotate on their own with the SWIFTT strategy. Once they are done, they share with small groups that had the same song. I used Taylor Swift songs because it will help them remember the strategy and engage them in the learning.
