What educators are saying

My students loved learning about plural nouns with Puppy! This was a great product to help introduce plural nouns to my firsties.

Description

Teaching singular and plural nouns is so important for little writers, but how can it be more fun?? Learners will love these engaging and interactive activities that focus on learning how to add s to words to make them plural (Other endings are not introduced in this lesson.)

This product was designed for busy teachers who may not have a large chunk of time for teaching grammar. The activities are quick but effective. You can use them with a whole group, small group, or at centers.

The fun projectable mini-lesson introduces kids to Puppy, who is learning how to write. It includes 12 interactive slides to help learners decide if Puppy chose the correct word for singular and plural nouns. They can also learn how to edit sentences to correct errors! This would be a great center at a smart board!

Kids will go crazy for the interactive editing and drawing activity. Just add s where it is needed in the sentences and then follow the directions to draw your own Puppy!

The singular/plural sorting and matching activity is perfect for centers or for a whole group. You can sort the cards by singular and plural and match the words and pictures.

There is also a singular and plural printable included that can be used as an assessment or additional activity.
