Plants & Seeds Unit-Activities, Flipbooks, Recording Log, Investigations

This bundle has everything you need to teach your students about seeds and plants. Included are: vocabulary cards for a pocket chart or bulletin board, teacher instructions for investigations, multiple investigations (seed parts, the job of the stem, growing a plant), charts and flapbooks for interactive notebooks, and an assessment, including an answer key. Students will investigate seed and plant parts and their jobs, basic needs of a plant, and how we use plants in our daily lives. Included is an at-home or in-class ongoing investigation - students will plant seeds and measure/chart the growth of their plant in a plant log. A cover sheet is provided for student-made plant log folders (a 12x18 sheet of construction paper folded in half, with the cover sheet glued on the front).
