What educators are saying

I had lots of options for journal pages and we were able to partner with our community to get the seeds.
We planted flowers in the spring in my classroom and the students used these books to record what they saw every day. They loved it! It was fun and engaging.

Description

Just copy, cut and staple these journals for a fun way to observe the growth of plants. The journal includes:

1. Cover Page
2. “Today I planted…”- describe what type of seed they planted
3. “How I planted my seed”- describe the steps in planting
4. “Today my plant looks like this…”- this page can be copied multiple time to write observations on what they see
5. “Parts of a plant”- with or without words for tracing
6. “What plants need to grow”- fill in the blank
7. “ At the beginning my plant looked like this…. Now it looks like this”- draw pictures showing the progress/ transition of the plant

Pages do not have to be in any particular order. Enjoy!
