Description

This packet is from my READ TO LEARN series. A good story entertains, educates, and inspires! That is my goal with these books! And giving the students copies of the books to color, highlight words, etc. and take home to share with their families is an important step in the learning process.

"Plant Project" is a fun story of a boy who learns about growing a seed from his questions that he asks his sister, and the observations he records in a journal. The journal is written and illustrated by a real first grader and second grader (my daughters)!

Included in this fun packet are:

*An original song called "Read a Book"
*A letter to parents that teaches 12 reading strategies
*A classroom copy of "Plant Project"
*Comprehension questions for the story
*A master for small individual student books

If you are interested in more plant activities, be sure to check out my 86-page Plant Packet!

I hope you enjoy these materials! Sheila
