Description
Apple life cycle, watermelon, sunflower, or corn - your students pick which life cycle to animate and then create a digital stop motion animation.
Students can work independently or in pairs to create an animation of their choosing. Students can then view their animation to see their work.
Watch the video preview above to see a sample animation (watermelon example shown). Not only will students be honing tech skills, they will reinforce their understanding of life cycles. A follow up page is provided for students to show their thinking.
Please note: There is an option for students to create a scene showing the life cycles without animation as well. This option may suit your students better if they struggle with technology or you are short on time.
