What educators are saying

I love using these to teach math in the classroom! They are visually appealing, and fit perfectly with the lesson. I can also leave them for a sub, and they are easy to follow!

    Description

This product doubles as full digital lessons for the Concept Development portion of Grade 1 Eureka Math and also includes independent practice slides after each lesson. No prep-work needed for 6 days of math lessons with 354 slides including 94 independent practice slides bundled at a big discounted rate! These lessons support Numbers and Operations in Base Ten for CCSS particularly 1.NBT.1, 1.NBT.2, and 1.NBT.5. It also incorporates Standard Mathematical Practices MP4, MP6, and MP7. It is designed for first grade (particularly Module 4 Topic A Lessons 1-6 for Eureka) but can also be used for second half of kindergarten. It is designed to supplement or enhance other curriculums as it focuses on the same Common Core Standards. It can also serve as a great review for second grade.

This entire product line doubles as an interactive Google Slide digital lessons for the Concept Development portion Engage New York Eureka program to be displayed on your Smart Board in the classroom or shared on your screen and also contains interactive Google slides for independent or small group practice after the whole group lessons to be assigned or shared virtually to put the lesson into practice.

Completely paperless product! Meaning: no prep-work for you as the teacher!

In Topic A, students will extend their thinking of their work with teen numbers and work on place value up to 40. This will prepare them for their base ten work up to 100 that they will do in Module 6. They will use their math toolkits, including introduction to 4 ten sticks (that they will create together with the Math Detectives in lesson 1), place value mats, and dimes and pennies. They will also recall old tools to help make connections including the rekenrek, number bonds, fingers, and hide zero cards.

The Math Detectives slowly introduce the idea of how to organize tens and ones and extend to adding tens and ones and eventually in lesson 6 utilizing dimes and pennies to represent tens and ones.

The entire theme of this bundle is the circus! With eye-catching clipart by talented artists and a fun interactive story line, your students will be engaged from beginning to end.

Use these lessons as whole group shared on your Interactive whiteboard in the classroom, shared on your screen on Google Meet or Zoom for distant learning, or as a small group lesson in present mode as a visual while teaching. Students will follow along using their individual whiteboards or notebooks. Each slide is annotated with dialogue in speech bubbles to guide your lesson, but feel free to make it your own! Each slide is designed to serve as a foundation for which math discourse in the classroom can build and grow.

After the lessons are the independent slides for students. You can assign these slides in Google Classroom or on Seesaw (or any other program that supports Google slide products). Simply hold "ctrl" to select the slides you want to assign, go to file and make a copy. From there you can assign as you normally would on your preferred digital platform. These slides are interactive when in edit mode only! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask here or you can email me (see my TOU below for contact information). This can serve as part of your technology work within your math center rotation!
