    Description

These 9 products are great for students working on place value using Base Ten blocks from 0-999. Each activity within the bundle focuses on identifying the value of Base 10 blocks for ones, tens and hundreds (units, rods and flats). Activities included in the bundle include matching cards, drawing rods and units, adding two digit numbers with Base 10 blocks (with and without regrouping), sorting and using expanded form, identifying value and writing standard form and several other worksheets to help students practice place value.

This bundle is great for scaffolding because it contains activities with 1st grade standards and 2nd grade standards. Activities can be used in a variety of ways. For example, they can be used in math stations, as independent works, exit and entrance tickets, homework, and supplemental activities to aid your lesson.

Another great way to use these activities is by having your students use the Base 10 blocks along side of the activities. Using these manipulates will help to further their understanding of place value.

Activities that can be laminated and used multiple times come in black/white as well as colored. Worksheets only come in black/white options.

Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones. Understand the following as special cases:
10 can be thought of as a bundle of ten ones - called a “ten.”
The numbers from 11 to 19 are composed of a ten and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine ones.
The numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 refer to one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine tens (and 0 ones).
Compare two two-digit numbers based on meanings of the tens and ones digits, recording the results of comparisons with the symbols >, =, and <.
