Description
This PDF can be used to make a simple matching activity to help students learn and practice rhyming. The words used are those that an emerging reader should know; cvc words (consonant-vowel-consonant) and sight words. The student should read each riddle and find the matching picture. There are twelve picture-sentence pairs in this activity, as well as control cards to help students check their work.
Cards should be printed onto card stock, cut, and laminated prior to classroom use.
