It was a great resources for my ESL students to grasp better the math concepts with these visuals. Well done!
This resource has moved grade levels with my resource students and has been helpful as they learn new terminology. It is also great for ELL students.
Description
I created this math flipbook for newcomers to my classroom who needed support in learning mathematical language in English.
This includes over 50 cards with language from the common core standards from Kindergarten up to third grade and is an excellent tool for students to store in their desk, and take out whenever they need it.
Although the standards only go as high as third grade, it could be of use to older students who are still learning basic mathematics vocabulary.
My English language learners immediately get it out during math block, and love flipping through it to find the vocabulary hints they need.
I printed out the cards on cardstock, laminated, hole punched and put together on a key ring for ease of use.
