My photography club resources are designed for beginner photographers who have little to no knowledge of the art. Homeschool students would benefit from this resource as would elementary level students in an afterschool club or class. Additionally, middle through high-school students could benefit if you supplement reading materials and videos with these topics.

8. Vocabulary Terms & Definition Cards:

• Students can add their vocabulary hand-out into their photography portfolio for future reference. Teachers can hang premade vocabulary cards on the wall as terms come up or students can quiz one another with the vocabulary cards. (PDF, not editable)

9. Photography Vocabulary Workbook/Journal:

• Students will chart new vocabulary words and definitions in their journals/workbooks. Students will complete vocabulary worksheets that require fill in the blank and matching terms to definitions. As students learn new terms and definitions, they can chart their reflections on how they used those terms in their own photography. (PDF, not editable)

10. Photography Task Cards:

11. Photographic Storytelling Project:

• This project is perfect for the end of club / unit of study in a photography class! Students will work through planning their photographic stories with premade worksheets that guide their thinking. At the end of presentations, students can participate in a gallery walk and select their favorite story and reflect on it. (PDF, not editable)

12. Photography Concept Articles with Questions:

• Students will review the following concepts: composition, line & shape, editing, perspective, and lighting with these comprehension articles that include 5 questions per article. Not only will they learn about several different composition techniques, but they will apply what they've learned with four photo composition analysis worksheets. 14. Line & Shape Article & Activity:

• Students will enjoy exploring different lines and shapes through several color photographs. Students will read a comprehension article and find text based answers to increase comprehension.
