What educators are saying

My students enjoyed the dice activity with their words. I extend this by asking the students to write sentences with their words. Thanks for creating a wonderful resource!
I have used these in centers and for sub work in both 1st and second grade. They are a great tool and very interactive for students

    Description

This bundle includes ALL of my interactive word work printables for the entire year!

Each phonics skill includes the following activities at various levels to meet the individual needs of the child:

    1. Color it – Students color or trace words based on the word skill.
    2. Find it – Students go on a word hunt (using classroom books) to find words using the word work skill. Students write the words in the frames.
    3. Unscramble it – Students unscramble and discover words.
    4. Roll it, Write it – Students roll a die and match the number to a given word. The word is then written in a frame.
    5. Sort it – Students cut and sort words based on the word work skill.
    6. Define it (prefixes and suffixes) – Students use what they know about the prefix or suffix to write their own definition of the given word.
