This covers approximately kindergarten through the end of 2nd grade/beginning of 3rd grade phonics skills. Everything from letters to long vowels to suffixes, and more!
This is the scope and sequence I have developed based on my own experience as an educator and the various curriculums I have used in the past. The word lists are a game changer so you don't have to think of them yourself! We know that in the science of reading/structured literacy it is important to systematically and sequentially teach phonics patterns. This order is what has worked best for me and I hope you enjoy it too. Please remember, there are many different orders in which we can teach these skills, this is just one of them. I use this scope and the word lists for Orton-Gillingham based lessons at school and for tutoring. Remember, learning should be personalized so you may have to go back to fill in missing skills, you may be able to teach more than one skill (or letter) in a week, or you may have to break one portion up into several weeks. This is meant as a guide for teachers and tutors who know how to differentiate and deliver personalized learning.
