What does a workbook consist of?
- Colouring in the sound
- Labelling pictures with the sound
- Writing practice of sound - Identifying and highlighting words containing the sound
- 'Fill in the blanks' sentences using the correct sound
- Identifying and highlighting the correct spellings
- Look, Cover, Say, Write and Check spelling practice
- Sentence creation
- A reading comprehension passage where the short story focuses on the sound. Learners are encouraged to read the simple passage 3 times and highlight any words containing the sound. There are 4 questions about the passage.
- A page to draw pictures of the words
- A word search (find the sound)
