Personalized License Plates First Day Icebreaker Activity

This is a simple, yet fun, activity where students create a personalized license plate as a way to introduce themselves to you and their classmates at the beginning of the school year or a new semester. The file includes customizable and pdf versions of the student handout as well as a teacher's page. Students can work on their license plates while you take care of the first day housekeeping activities. Since the first day is generally a bit crazy, this activity can be stretched to fill the time. The license plates can be cut and posted in the classroom for a few weeks as you build a sense of community among your students. Thanks for considering!
