Perseus Mini-Bundle I with Answer Key

This resource has been carefully designed to convey the importance of grammatical precision to the reading of Latin and is intended for teachers with advanced knowledge of Latin grammar who use the grammar-translation method in their classrooms. It contains a short passage for translation with a glossary and grammar notes, a set of five questions about the grammar, and a set of five reading comprehension questions, all of which have an answer key at the end of the document. It was originally created to help my Latin III students to practice purpose clauses, which they had just learned; to review relative time in indirect discourse, which they had learned a month or so before, but had difficulty remembering; and to get a taste of fear clauses, which they would learn in the near future. I have left it in a Word format so that it can be easily edited to meet the needs of your class. This resource is one part of a (to be) five-part series about the Greek hero Perseus that I often use immediately after teaching a unit on hero myths, during which my students read the story of Perseus and other heroes in English.
