Penguins are a fun winter theme and this set of 6 penguins themed emergent readers with math components is perfect for both Math & Literacy skills! You can cover shapes, number words/numerals, early subtraction, positional words and ordinal numbers with fun penguins! A non-fiction reader about penguins is also included to help incorporate reading into your science block (or science into your reading block!). Each reader prints 2 to a page to help cut down on paper. Included with each reader are word strips that you can print out and display in a pocket chart. Also included for each reader are full color picture cards to go along with the story. Readers included:
