You can use this in small groups or as a center. Its easy to differentiate, so its perfect for Guided Reading or RTI too! Reinforce letter sounds and have students practice identifying the initial sounds in words! Each letter of the alphabet has its own ice floe - students have to find the penguins whose pictures begin with that sound!
