Description

Begin to make the changes in the lives of the students in the classroom and watch the ripple effect unfold throughout the school! Give power to the ones that need it the most, and create a powerful place where everyone feels needed, accepted, and understood! This Peer Mentor Initiative will help to create a classroom & school climate that harnesses the very best of all who participate in it. When given the time and diligence needed, this program will empower it's participants to work hard, to not only do better for themselves, but for everyone around them as well. The goal being to do more for others in order to bring them to success first, to in turn help find true success for self. The program is designed as a usable template that can also be modified to better fit individual classroom needs. Utilize these examples as a platform for beginners or as a springboard for experts already utilizing peer mentoring strategies in the classroom or school/ sports programs.
