Peer Editing Checklist and Peer Feedback Stars and Triangles

This set is what we use in class to facilitate peer editing and feedback.

Included here is a checklist to scaffold your students through peer editing. It is not specific so can be used on any type of writing. There is also a way for students to give feedback using either the stars or triangles allowing them to comment on something that was positive, a question they had and something that they felt the writer needed to work on. This can then be attached to the person's work. Also included is a general guideline for editing and feedback for the writer and the editor. This helps with how they give feedback and respond to given feedback and should stop some of the issues that may arise.
