Parent Questionnaire Back to School Getting to Know Your Child

One of the first tips I give to new teachers is to remember to not only create connections with your students, but with their parents too. By creating an environment of open and clear communication, you save yourself so much trouble in the long run! Parents mostly just want to know that you care about your kid and that you're all on the same the team.⁠

I like to start this all off with a quick and easy parent questionnaire at the beginning of the year where they get to tell me all about their kid! Not only does this help create that open line of communication, but it also gives me SO much information about each child's life outside of school.
