PENGUINS Virtual Library & Music/Media Room - SEESAW & Google Slides

This fun room is all about PENGUINS - fact & fantasy! The Virtual Library includes 26 ad-free (Now via YouTube!) PENGUINS-themed fiction and non-fiction books read aloud. There are 10 PENGUINS-themed song videos and 4 informational videos in the Music/Media Room. ALL are ad-free via YouTube.

During Distance Learning, I used these resources for quick access during Zoom instruction. My students enjoyed them independently via Seesaw, as well.

We have now returned to modified in-person instruction and as much as I prefer 'real' books in my hands and theirs, various precautions are still in play. I often utilize the virtual library and music/media room format during whole group activities. They provide a budget-friendly collection of thematic resources all organized in one place. Students look forward to their turn to choose for the class and enjoy individual access via tablets in our alternative classroom library.

The home-school connection is so important, so students will continue to have access at home. They provide thematic enrichment, supplemental activities, and opportunities for shared reading with family & friends.
