These are special times, difficult times, in education today. Many parents have been forced into the role of HOME EDUCATOR. In 35 years as a classroom teacher/educator, and 10 years as a private tutor, I have heard parents say many times that they are feeling unequipped, and even inadequate, to deal with the material taught today because much of it is unfamiliar (or forgotten). When my tutoring students' parents began to feel this way , especially when their children were thrown into "Virtual Learning," they asked for help. I developed "Parent Guides," that include study guides, practice worksheets, and hands-on activities and games. I hope that the materials I have developed help parents and other "Home Educators." My store motto is "Helping Parents Helping Students."
This booklet covers VA SOL 4.1abc Place Value. It includes definitions of terms, procedures, and examples. It goes along with the Place Value Slide Show in this Place Value group of products.
