Out West - An S-Blends Game

Yee-Haw! This adorable cowboy and cowgirl graphics will be a hit in your classroom. Students get the chance to practice reading words with the s-blends, sc, sk, sl, st, sn, sw, sm, and sp either at the beginning of the word or at the end. All words are short vowel words and easily decodable for students. Some words do contain digraphs (like chest) or double constants (like stuff).

You will find 66 word cards, 6 special cards, sorting headers for a sorting activity, a blank page to add your own words, and a recording sheet for the end of the game.
