Description
This 8 page bundle includes 33 orienteering map symbol cards and their corresponding word cards. A key is also included. These cards can be used in a variety of ways in an orienteering unit. My favorite way to use them is as a review for the map symbols. In a relay format, students are provided with either the symbol cards or the word cards and must match each symbol to the word or vice versa. The key can also be provided to students independently in order to learn the symbols and begin map drawing exercises.
