Description

Note: Some of my products have some “out there” ideas. Make sure to look at the preview before purchasing. If you don't like the preview, then it's not something you should purchase. Everyone's classroom is unique and while these lessons work within my classroom, that may not be the case in another’s room.

In honor of a truly wonderful dog, Oogy, Wake Up Sunshine is bringing his story, to any teacher who'd like their students to experience how dogs truly have life figured out, far better than us humans.

This simple and affordable literary guide is geared to be a VERY SIMPLE STUDY! There are simply 3 activities per chapter (10 in all). Then there is a final speech option (on Flip) at its culmination. The activities are more visual/abstract thinking and do not take much time, at all. The quizzes (on Easel and included) are brief (usually 5 questions). Finally, the Flip speeches are based on very simple prompts/graphic organizers.

In reality, this nonfiction literary study is good for struggling or unmotivated readers. The learning experiences are conducted in simple bite-sized chunks.

Note: This is the routine I followed with my classes. However, do the novel in any manner that works best for your scenario.
