On My Way to Second Grade Summer Practice and Review Packet

Avoid the dreaded summer slide! This summer review packet is 8 weeks of FUN activities for upcoming second graders. These activities are a review of reading, math, and writing skills. Each week will include a a FUN writing project and educational activities for each weekday. These activities are extremely effective for students to maintain skills that are typically lost during the summer.

The packet comes with a parent letter that introduces the need for these skills. Each week opens with a graphic organizer for the weekly writing activity. Monday-Thursday have alternating math and literacy problems; eight each day. Friday is a writing paper that coordinates with the graphic organizer. The summer packet includes 41 pages!

Answer key is included. You may choose to send this home with parents.

This review packet requires absolutely NO PREP. Just print and go!

This packet is also terrific for morning work during the first few weeks of second grade.
