NGSS Oil Spill STEM Challenge & Environmental Science Unit

Explore environmental engineering through oil spills! This integrated unit includes two detailed, hands-on lessons with corresponding STEM challenges. Students will attempt to clean up oil an "oil spill" using materials purchased with a budget that align with the four main methods that environmental engineer's use to clean oil spills (absorption, booms, skimming, and dispersion).
