Description
Explore eleven symbols or motifs in Steinbeck's novel Of Mice and Men. Distributed across four worksheets, each task focuses on a symbolic image within the text, asking students to use the image to identify the object and its symbolism before backing up their thoughts with reasoning and quotations.

The four worksheets are also provided with four different image formats - simple icons, detailed illustrations (which can also be colored for mindfulness), silhouettes and color pictures. Use as a method of differentiation or simply to ration your ink levels!
