Occupational Therapy Teletherapy: HAND EMOJI CHALLENGE- Virtual or Printable

Description: This is an online resource shared via Google Slides to work on various Fine Motor OT Skills. This activity can be screen-shared virtually or printed as a fun exercise during sessions. These activities were inspired by the viral tik-tok and instagram challenges, modified by an occupational therapist and graded to focus on specific fine motor and visual-motor skills. No equipment and no prep required!

Directions: Copy each hand emoji movement with your own hands!

Duration: 15-25 minutes

Ways to modify the activity:

• Can screen-share the activity during a virtual session 
• Can print each slide to make them into playing cards
• Can use this for a group activity or an individual session
• Can have them try to do it as fast as they can 
• Can set a timer to see how long it takes to complete each level
• Can do the movements forwards then backwards
• Can show the slide then have them try and memorize the movements
• Can set a metronome and have them do the movements to the beat
• Can have them do it to the beat of music
