Description

Need a research lesson that focuses on the future? This packet includes a complete lesson plan and graphic organizers for elementary age research project on occupations, careers, and jobs they want to be when they grow up.

After finding sources on their topic the students fill out a graphic organizer which helps them focus on:

Details, finding information, and summarizing

You can use any topic with this lesson, so it can be used for all elementary grade levels. I have included two graphic organizers-one for lower elementary (2-3) and one for upper elementary (4-5).
